Circus Zingaro- Ein Pop-Up Buch

Dieses Pop-Up Buch ist als Abschlussarbeit meines Design-Studiums an der FH Münster entstanden.

Es geht um ein Strassenmädchen, das sich einem Wanderzirkus anschliessen will.
Sie stellt sich dem Zirkusdirektor vor, doch der nimmt sie nicht ernst.

Statt ihr einen Job anzubieten stellt er ihr all die skurrilen Freaks aus seiner Truppe vor, um sie davon zu überzeugen, dass sie nicht dazupasst. Doch sie hat eine Begabung von der der Direktor noch nichts weiss…

Circus Zingaro- A Pop-Up Book

I created this Pop-Up Book during my Design and Illustration studies for my final exam.

The story is about a streetwalking girl that wants to join a traveling circus.
She introduces herself to the Ringmaster but he doesn’t take her seriously.

Instead of offering her a job he introduces her to all the extraordinary freaks and geeks at his show to convince her that she doesn’t fit in.
But she has a special gift he doesn’t know about yet…
